The way the theme of the game merges with the gameplay and the mechanics is making Paradox Island quite a special game. We are really happy that we had the chance to play it before general release.

As we like deduction games we loved the way this one plays, having two completely different roles that you can choose from, each one with a different gameplay style, and also 6 different characters if you are on the captives side. This provides it a lot or replayability and motives to try it again and again. The different objectives and abilities for each of the characters will make you have different strategies on every play, and the power tokens that are drawn every round will give the game a bit of unpredictability that will spice things up a bit.
